(More customer reviews)My chickens tended to waste alot of this product because ( I think) the material size of the shell was too coarse for them. I ended up smashing some of it up to a finer material with a hammer and although the chickens pecked at it on occasion, they by far preferred their own "recycled" egg shell fragments as a calcium source.
