(More customer reviews)While cleaning our newer almond colored gas stove, my wife dropped one of the burner grills and chipped the top of the stove. It didn't dent it, but it did put a nasty dime sized chip in the porcelain right down to the metal. I ordered a jar of Sheffield 1438 Porcelain Touch-Up Almond, followed the directions and put 2 layers of the touch-up mixture on the chip over a two day period. The color was off slightly (Maytag stove) but it looks way better than the big black chip. In fact, a person just glancing at the stove would probably not see it. The drying time is long (many hours), so do it at night before you go to bed and it will be safe to use in the morning.
