(More customer reviews)The WetFire Stove is probably the best all around stove for wilderness trips or your bug out bag. I use it all the time while camping / training. Super light weight and solid fuel can not spill in your bag to create a fire hazard like liquids have a tendency to do.
I do not like the fuel provided but instead use Esbit or Trioxane tablets.
This stove is so versatile, being made of titanium that has a melt temperature of 3135F, you can actually put it into a bed of red hot coals using it as a stand for your fry pan or cook pot. Using it this way keeps plenty of air flowing to the coals so they remain nice and hot.
This stove can also be used with alcohol fuel using a tea light candle cup to hold the alcohol.
Team this stove up with a Snow Peak titanium bowl ($16) and you have a blast proof solo cook kit.
